Application

The Hubbell/ Wiegmann N412xxxxxxSSC stainless steel series, with its streamlined design, is a perfect fit for mounting electrical or high-tech electronic equipment in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings. It is typically used in the following areas where corrosion-resistant protection is needed: food processing plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper processing, and waste water treatment facilities.

Construction

• Fabricated from 14-gauge 304 stainless steel
• Continuously plasma welded seams
• Door and body stiffeners are provided in larger enclosures for extra rigidity
• Grounding studs are welded to door and body to assure a positive ground
• Print pocket is provided
• Doors are sealed with poured-in-place polyurethane gasket
• Collar studs for mounting optional subpanels
• Grounding provisions provided
• Optional subpanels must be ordered separately
• Doors are interchangeable and easily removable (Open to 90° to remove door)
• 1/4 turn semi-flush oil tight latches are supplied to hold door securely closed
• Mounting holes in rear of enclosure
• Optional mounting foot kit is available (required to maintain the NEMA types 4, 12 and 13 ratings)

NOTES FOR ORDERING SUBPANELS:

All NEMA 4/12 (N412xxxxxxSSC series) enclosures are designed for use with NPxxxxC series sub-panels only.
The original NEMA 4/12 (N412xxxxxxSS series) enclosures (without the C suffix part number) have now been replaced by the N412xxxxxxSSC series enclosures.

Do NOT use NPxxxxC subpanels in NEMA 1, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, or NEMA 12 enclosures.
NPxxxxC subpanels will also NOT fit in older NEMA 4/12 enclosures (purchased prior to 3-23-05) that do NOT have a C suffix part number.

For example: Subpanel NP1212C will NOT fit older NEMA 4/12 enclosures such as N412121206SS or N412121206.
Do NOT use NPxxxx subpanels in NEMA 4/12 enclosures (N412 series) with a C suffix part number. (i.e. N412121206SSC)

NPxxxx series subpanels (without "C" suffix part number) are for use only with NEMA 1, NEMA 4 and 4X, and NEMA 12 enclosures,
or older N412 series enclosures without a "C" suffix part number (N412xxxxxSS or N412xxxxx part numbers purchased prior to 3-23-05)
