Non-Metallic NEMA 4X Electrical Enclosures - Premier Series
(Fiberglass Industrial Cabinets)

Premier Non-Metallic Enclosures NEMA 4X enclosures are typically made of stainless steel or plastic. These NEMA enclosures are used in harsher environments than standard NEMA 4 units. Applications where corrosive materials and caustic cleaners are used necessitate the use of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Applications include food, such as meat/ poultry processing facilities, where total washdown with disinfectants occur repeatedly and petro-chemical facilities, including offshore petroleum sites. NEMA 4X is used when protection from the worst environments is required.

Fiberglass construction
Poured polyurethane seamless gasket provides watertight, dust-tight environmental seal
Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance
Rounded edges, minimal protrusions or exposed pocket area for accumulation of dust or debris
300 Series stainless steel used on all external hardware
Optional mounting feet available
Raised bosses with brass inserts accepting 10-32 screws for optional panel mounting
Impact resistance and physical strength greater than that of ABS and PVC

Please Note:
We carry a large variety of the most common panel sizes, but we are unable to create custom-size enclosures or to determine the proper size for your application.

Enclosure Availability:
To offer you access to a much wider array of Hubbell Wiegmann enclosures, some of our enclosure part numbers are designated as "non-stock", meaning their availability can range from immediate to 14 days. These part numbers are designated in the online store with a "clock" icon indicating if the part is a 7 day or a 10-14 day delivery item, and in the printed price list as "non-stock (1 to 7 days)" or "non-stock (1 to 14 days)".

Shipping:
When you place an order, a complete enclosure shipment will ship at one time from the manufacturer when ALL enclosure parts in the order are available.
If you order stock enclosures that you want to ensure are shipped immediately, put them on a separate order from the non-stock enclosures.
All other products on your order will ship immediately.
