With the original SureStep drive you just set a few DIP switches, hook-up a motor and connect to a PLC (or other controller) � it couldn�t be easier, and it�s a great fit for many simple applications. However, some customers asked for more functionality, and higher current capability. So, we've introduced two new Advanced Programmable SureStep stepper drives. With software-selectable resolution up to 51,200 steps per revolution for smoother, more accurate motion and power capability up to 10 A/phase, these stepper drives take SureStep to the next level.

Three additional power supplies are now offered to augment the existing 32 volt SureStep power supply. These unregulated linear power supplies offer full load outputs of 48 VDC/5A, 48 VDC/10A, and 70 VDC/5A. Less expensive than regulated supplies, they are perfectly suited to power SureStep stepper drives and stepper motors.

All models have additional 5VDC, 500 mA regulated logic supply
Fusing included for both incoming AC and outgoing DC

The SureStep Pro configuration software on CD and the STP-232RJ11-CBL programming cable are included with each advanced stepper drive (STP-DRV-4850 & STP-DRV-80100). Software is NOT required for the standard drive (STP-DRV-4035). SureStep Pro is also available as a Free Download
Spare/replacement programming cable STP-232RJ11-CBL is available
Used for easy configuration and setup of the stepper drive system; including drive, motion control mode, I/O, stepper motor.
Serial command language for stepper motor drive control via serial port; eliminates the need for separate motion controllers or indexers; provides easy interface to other industrial devices such as PCs, PLCs and HMIs.
Easily use the ASCII output commands from most of our PLCs to enable indexing capability.
Help files include technical data, application information, advanced setup, serial command instructions.
Runs on Windows Vista, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98.
