GH Series Contactors/ Motor Starters/ Overload Relays

So many PLC outputs hook up to motor contactors and motor starters that we thought it made sense to sell them.
AutomationDirect offers electromechanical motor controls for electric motors from 20 - 300 horsepower at 480 volts. For lower horsepower solutions, choose from the GH Series line of European-made contactors, overload relays and motor starter/protectors, or the Cutler-Hammer Freedom series IEC contactors and starters. For extreme value in motor contactors, AutomationDirect offers the GH Series line of load switching devices. These high-quality contactors have the same features as the name brands, but at prices that are hard to beat.

We also offer manual motor starter/ protectors to assemble a super-low cost motor starter with short circuit and overload protection. Our RTD32 and RTD65 adjustable motor overload relays are designed to attach directly to the GH Series 45mm and 60mm contactors. By combining a GH Series contactor with a GH Series overload relay, you can have a motor starter solution at a fraction of the cost charged by our competitors.

Contactors

Three-pole contactors:

• IEC Sizes B through J
• 120 V or 240 V coil
• One auxiliary contact standard through Size D

Auxiliary Contacts

• Snap-on top mount in four versions:
  • 1 normally open, 1 normally closed contact
  • 2 normally open, 2 normally closed contacts
  • 3 normally open, 1 normally closed contact
  • 4 normally open contacts
• Side mount with 1 normally open/1 normally closed contact
• Contact blocks designed for snap-on installation

Mechanical interlock

• Clip-on accessory to interlock two contactors

Manual starter / protector

Check the data sheet

• Push on / push off manual control disconnects power from motor
• Electromagnetic short circuit protection eliminates the need for separate breakers or fuses
• Overload heater strips protect the motor from sustained overload conditions
• Phase loss detection trips as a function of thermal overload when a phase is lost to protect the motor
• Options include undervoltage trip, remote shunt trip, and auxiliary contacts
