IronHorse™ General Purpose DC Permanent Magnet Motors
IronHorse™ Permanent Magnet reversible DC motors are designed for use on unfiltered SCR (Thyristor) type DC drives. These permanent magnet motors may also be used with PWM (pulse width modulated) type DC adjustable speed drives. The IronHorse line of DC electric motors includes:

TENV or TEFC 56C-frame DC motors with rolled steel frames, flange mount and removable mounting bases; .33-2hp
Replacement DC motor brush sets available (one spare set is included with each DC motor)
STABLE motor slide bases for adjustable motor mounting
Input power of 115 or 230 volts rectified AC can be used with an appropriate SCR drive
Linear speed/torque characteristics over entire speed range
High starting torque for heavy load applications
Capable of dynamic braking for faster stops
Reversible rotation
Simple two-lead connection (2 wire motor)

Shipping restrictions on all large electric motors:

Due to weight restrictions, large motors must be shipped via truck and cannot be shipped to Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.

"NEXT DAY" truck delivery options on motors are only available for a very limited number of in-stock items and are subject to regional limitations. Orders must be placed no later than 12:00pm (noon) Eastern time and... AN EXPEDITE FEE WILL BE CHARGED.

Saturday delivery is NOT available for motors that must ship via truck (ground service).

In-stock motors will typically ship the same day via the AutomationDirect preferred shipping provider.

Also:

IronHorse motors are normally in-stock and ready to ship.
Most of the MicroMAX series motors are currently available as in-stock items and will ship the same day from AutomationDirect, but the larger non-stock motors that must ship via truck (Black Max, Blue Max and Blue Chip-XRI Series motors) will be drop-shipped from Marathon Electric (usually the same business day or within 24 hours).

Motors with Encoders (Yxxx-A77x part numbers) are custom assembled and will drop-ship from Marathon Electric within 48-72 hours.
