This is one of MANY power supplies I have used from Automation Direct over the years. I have NEVER had a failure. ALL of their power supplies will self-protect when over-loaded or shorted. Remove the problem and the power supply comes right back up! Some have a small range of adjustment in case you want to tweak the value a bit. The larger supplies even have an ON/OFF output you can use to monitor the condition of the supply. I none of the metal or plastic-cased supplies use up much Din-Rail space, and ALL connections are right out front for easy wiring. The connectors unplug if desired. They are also very efficient as I seldom feel any heat coming out of the power supplies, even under maximum load-conditions. This reduces panel-heating.
