HPS Imperator™ Compact Control Transformers
HPS Imperator control power transformers from Hammond are specifically
designed for high inrush applications requiring reliable
output voltage stability. Designed to meet industrial applications
where electromagnetic devices such as relays, solenoids, etc. are
used, these industrial power transformers maximize inrush capability and output voltage regulation
when electromagnetic devices are initially energized. Four series of compact control transformers are available:
- MQMJ Series - 480x240 VAC to 240x120 VAC
- MGJ Series - 380x277x208 VAC to 240x120 VAC
- PG Series - 240x120 VAC to 24x12 VAC
- MLI Series - 480x240 VAC to 120x25 VAC

HPS Fortress™ Encapsulated Transformers
HPS Fortress encapsulated transformers provide an innovative design that is ideal for commercial applications
where quality, ease of installation, and low cost are key. All Fortress units are encapsulated power transformers with electrical grade silica
sand and resin compounds, which completely enclose the core and coil to seal out moisture, airborne contaminants and eliminate
corrosion and deterioration. This type of power transformer is also sometimes referred to as a potted transformer.
480V transformers and 60Hz transformers are among the most popular models offered. Three series of encapsulated transformers are available:
- C1F***LE Series (480x240 to 240x120 VAC)
- C1F***WE Series (277/240/208/120 VAC to 240x120 VAC)
- C1F***XE Series (220/208/200/190x440/416/400/380 to 240x120 VAC)

Jefferson Electric Buck-Boost Transformers
Buck-boost transformers are designed to maximize the performance and life of electrical equipment.
They are typically used to power loads with specific voltage requirements that differ from the available
line voltage. Buck-boost transformers can be connected as auto-transformers or isolation transformers. As an auto-transformer, these buck-boost transformers provide a means of
raising (boosting) or lowering (bucking) a supply line voltage by a small amount (usually no more
than 20 percent). When connected as an isolation transformer, these transformers can be used to step-down
supply power to low voltage circuits at the nameplate rating listed. Two ranges of buck-boost transformers are available:
- 240 x 120 VAC to 24 x 12 VAC
- 240 x 120 VAC to 32 x 16 VAC
