Our powerful Windows-based DirectSOFT programming package is new and improved. With many new instructions, programming is now easier, quicker and more intuitive than ever.

Improved viewing options and customizable tool bars make it easier to program and monitor your PLC system.

With DirectSOFT5, documentation can be exported for use in other applications such as our C-more operator interface panels. User Interface Themes allow operators to create a unique look and feel for the DirectSOFT programming environment. The dockable window feature allows relocation of Cross Reference and Data views. The ability to auto-hide or even tear away views and place them outside the DirectSOFT5 work space optimizes full ladder viewing.

The product offering has been simplified to a full support PC-DSOFT5 package that programs all of our DirectLogic PLCs, and our new PC-DS100 package, which is a full-featured FREE programming package with a 100 word limitation. (DS100 is only available by download from our Web site).

Cables and Handheld Programmers

DL205 CPUs can be programmed with DirectSOFT5 and a PC cable, or with the D2-HPP handheld programmer. We offer the following programming cables and handheld programmers:

• D2-DSCBL - PC programming cable for DL05, DL06, DL105, DL205, and D3-350 CPUs and D4-450 CPUs
  
  
• D2-DSCBL-1 - PC programming cable for D2-250 bottom port
  
  
• D2-DSCBL-2 - Tinned leads cable for DL06, D2-250-1 or D2-260 bottom port
  
  
• DA-DSCBL - Programming cable kit that includes one each of D2-DSCBL, D3-DSCBL-1, D3-DSCBL-2, and D4-DSCBL cables
  
  
• D2-HPP - DL205 Handheld Programmer provides programming, testing and monitoring for all DL05, DL06, DL105, DL205 and D3-350 CPUs. Supports both RLL and RLLPLUS instructions and includes cable.
  
  
• D2-HPP-U - Upgrade kit to allow existing D2-HPP handheld programmers with firmware V1.82 or earlier to program the DL05, DL06 and DL105 units.
