22mm Push button Enclosures - ThermoPlastic and Metal
Plastic and metal push button enclosures are offered for the 22mm line of metal push buttons.
- Switches with two-deep contact blocks require enclosures that are 74mm deep: 51mm-deep enclosures are too
shallow and the switch contact block will not fit.
- For switches with one-deep contact blocks, either 51mm-deep or 74mm deep enclosures can be used.
- Plastic enclosure material is thermoplastic ABS and conforms to UL94/HB. Gasket material is caoutchouc (rubber) foam.
The degree of protection offered is IP65 according to CEI EN 60529.
CAUTION: Do not over-tighten when securing a switch in a plastic enclosure body. Over-tightening will crack the
plastic body of the enclosure.
NOTE: These plastic enclosures work with most 22mm pushbuttons but may not work with Cutler-Hammer E22 series
push buttons.

PBGX Series - 22.5mm Metal Push button Enclosures
These NEMA 12 metal push button enclosures:
- are designed to hold all standard 22.5 mm brands of miniature oil-tight push buttons, switches and pilot lights
- provide protection from dirt, dust, oil and water
- Switches with two-deep contact blocks require enclosures that are 74mm deep
- For switches with one-deep contact blocks, either 51 mm-deep or 74mm deep enclosures can be used
