22mm Pushbutton Enclosures - Thermoplastic and Metal
Plastic and metal pushbutton enclosures are offered for the 22mm line of plastic (or metal) pushbuttons.
- Plastic enclosure material is thermoplastic ABS and conforms to UL94/HB. Gasket material is caoutchouc (rubber) foam.
The degree of protection offered is IP65 according to CEI EN 60529.
- Metal enclosure material is 14 gauge steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and with closed cell oil-resistant neoprene gaskets.
- Push switches with two-deep contact blocks require enclosures that are 74mm deep: 51mm-deep enclosures are too
shallow and the switch contact block will not fit.
- For push switches with one-deep contact blocks, either 51mm-deep or 74mm deep enclosures can be used.
PBGX Series - 22.5mm Pushbutton Enclosures - Metal
- NEMA 12 metal pushbutton enclosures
- are designed to hold all standard 22.5 mm brands of miniature oil-tight push buttons, switches and pilot lights
- provide protection from dirt, dust, oil and water
- Switches with two-deep contact blocks require enclosures that are 74mm deep
- For switches with one-deep contact blocks, either 51 mm-deep or 74mm deep enclosures can be used
