Safety Light Curtains (Machine Safety Light Barriers)
AutomationDirect offers two series of safety light curtains; the YBB-14 light curtain series with 14mm resolution for finger protection, and the YBB-30 light curtain series with 30mm resolution for hand protection. These safety curtains are used for human protection and product/machine safety where risks cannot be eliminated by machine design and the process might require open and frequent access.

Resolution � minimum diameter of an intruding object in order to disrupt one beam at any angle
Protective Height � width of area monitored by the beams
Operating Distance � max distance between Sender and Receiver light curtain units
