Encoder Accessories

Couplings

Couplings provide a connection between encoders and solid shafts. We offer fiberglass (GJ series) and aluminum (RU/JU series) metric-to-metric couplings and aluminum metric-to-S.A.E. couplings (MCGL series). Couplings are provided for all standard shaft encoders.

• The TRD-S and TRD-SH series (light duty) encoders have metric-to-metric and metric-to-S.A.E. couplings available. (No mounting bracket)
  
  
• The TRD-N, TRD-NH and TRD-NA series (medium duty) encoders have metric-to-metric, metric-to-S.A.E. couplings and a mounting bracket available.
  
  
• The TRD-GK series (heavy duty) encoders have metric-to-metric, metric-to-S.A.E. couplings and a mounting bracket available.

NOTES: If you select an encoder with a solid shaft, please be sure to select a coupling that fits your encoder. All couplings are in stock, ready to ship.

Mounting Brackets

Mounting brackets are available for the medium and heavy duty encoders as follows:

• The JT-035D metal mounting bracket is for use with all medium duty (TRD-N/ TRD-NH/ TRD-NA) encoders.
  
  
• The RT-11D metal mounting bracket is for use with all heavy duty (TRD-GK) encoders.

NOTE: No mounting bracket is available for the light duty (TRD-S and TRD-SH series) encoders.
