Direct Mount Terminal Blocks A low cost alternative to standard terminal blocks Direct mount terminal blocks do not require the use of a DIN rail to mount. By utilizing two mounting screws, they can be mounted to any backplane. Direct mount terminal blocks are supplied with or without wire protectors and can easily be cut to length with ordinary hand tools. Wire protectors are metallic strips that physically isolate the conductor from the terminal screw. The protectors prevent cutting or nicking softer conductors.
