I used to have to buy a 4-port switch locally and a 3-outlet 110v din-mount socket to power it, and provide unconventional means to mount it. Now I eliminate the 110v outlet, mount it on my din rail, and wire it into my 24v supply in my control box. Simple and more reliable.

This part was nice and compact, performs as expected, and was pretty reasonably priced. I've deployed three so far, and will continue to specify them except where I need GigE.

Excellent option for Ethernet connection in control application. Directly wire to 24VDC, rather than requiring its own proprietary power supply
