This cable connects to the 15-pin High-Density connector of a D2-250-1 or D2-260 or D0-06xx. The other end is designed to connect directly to CN3 of a servo amp. It is designed for RS-485 communications ONLY! I initialy used this cable to test my program. I WAS planning on fabricating a cable to connect the PLC to the servos' field wiring. When I tried to install the four jumpers onto the TINY pins on the rear of the connector, I gave up and simply cut off the servo-connector end of this cable and used the HD-15 end to connect the PLCs' port 2 to the field wiring at terminals. At the low price A-D charges for these cables, it is worth far more than my time trying to fabricate a cable myself! Look at the SureServo manual (page 6-9) for the pin-outs of the three wires you will use for comunications.

When you forget to order the cable and have to make a cable over a weekend to get a system up again. To make this cable you need an Apple Comm cable and 15 pin male sub-d and fine all of that in Modesto on Sunday was not fun, then cut it and build it. All of Automationdirect cables are excellent and a real time saver.
