Specifically- finding a cord grip to pass this cable through to an enclosure is virtually impossible. One must use a hugely oversized grip to get through one of the soldered on connectors and then artificially increase the girth of the cable (in my case I used E-tape) to get the cord grip to 'grip'. Personally, I think A.D. should offer some kind of a short (.5m/1m) CN2/Encoder cable that has a panel mount Female CN2 connector on 1 end and a male CN2 plug on the other (like the cables that are sold with the GS2 & GS3 Drives to allow panel mounting of the control keypad.

Tim in DARTMOUTH, NS wrote : 5/1/09 - The documentation should be better, so it is clear that the encoder cable must be purchased with the servo motor and driver to make the system work. Some motors show cables which look like that will connect, and the 10' cable is just an optionl extension, whihc is not the case. - The manual for programming a servo motor system should have more examples. Once you understand how to program the unit the manual makes sense, but it is difficult to learn by reading the first time. - It is very easy to program the sure servo driver using the buttons on the face of the unit. The cable to a computer and the software were not needed for my application.
