Will comunicate with a GS3 DuraPulse via an ISOCON and with a small modification will power the ISOCON via the USB 5V power. (no external 24V power required)

Works very good in both the click software and c-more micro software and parts. Use only one sftware at time or they will lockup if both are setup for the same cable.

The cable is well made, but I had better results with my DB9 cable. I had intermittent problems with the cable, such as; I downloaded a program into the PLC, put it into run, and the unit still acted as if it was in stop (i.e., no outputs, monitored bits not showing scan, etc.) Never had that problem with the serial cable. Still, cable is a decent value.

This is good general purpose USB/serial converter and works well in most applications, not just Auto-Direct. Compact size is a plus as well

I've used other USB to serial converters before and was surprised how easily this item was to use. I didn't have to install drivers on my XP system, my OS recognized the device and established it as a COM port.
I purchased this to use with the new Click PLC and it worked very well.

This USB serial adapter works without a hitch. It installs in seconds and works without any issues under XP and Vista. The RJ jack,connector cable and LEDs are quite convenient. We also made adapter cables for Allen Bradley SLC500 that work perfectly. I have tested many different USB serial adapters and except for the Keyspan 19HS none worked with automation programming and drive configuration software packages not originally designed for USB. EA-MG-PGM-CBL so far worked with all of the software packages tested and is cheaper than the Keyspan. My only complaint is that an RJ-11 to DSUB-9 Female serial adapter is not included. Otherwise it would be a perfect USB converter solution for any RS232 device. No biggie you can always make your own for a few dollars.

used this to program a C more micro that I connected to a AB Micrologx 1200 the driver for this device is in the C more micro program download. once installed all went well works like a champ!
