Eric in LAWRENCE, KS wrote : 7/29/09 Have used OP-400's for years. In comparison, the EA1 has a brain the size of a planet. The bottom end EA1 I used costs less, does tons more. Software has ton's of features and took me a while to learn but it was well worth it. Graphing feature is easy. It doesn't act like the OP-400's. Operation of the EA1 is very stand-alone. The biggest difference is that it is easy to drive screen changes in the OP-400's, less easy with the EA1.
