Lookout Direct is a great value and has been reliable in many water / wastewater projects I have used it on. It favorably competes with RSView32 and Wonderware. It is a special packaged version of the National Instruments product. Unfortunately this version is badly out of date. The NI product is several versions past this one. Automation Direct needs to address the issue or offer their own SCADA system! Come on, guys! Give us a solution! Buying from NI is very expensive because of the tag-count options they offer. I never see the NI product advertised. It makes me wonder if National has a future plan for it. All things considered, for a SCADA system based on Windows XP, this is a very cost effective and robust product.
