I have used selectors and pushbuttons from many vendors over the years. Some are very good units that take years of abuse. They are also VERY expensive and often require that you order each part of the operator (lens, body, contact-blocks and light-unit) seperately. I am usually appaled at the cost of the resulting unit.
The Automation Direct line of operators, including this selector, are easy to buy, are priced VERY reasonably, and have the sturdiest contact blocks. They are color-coded for easy recognition (no breaking out the magnifying glass to read the designations)
I also like how they mount: a pair of pointed screws secure the unit against rotation. You do NOT need to punch a keyed hole to ensure that the selector will not rotate. The base is cast metal with a nice finish against corrosion. The lamp asseblies are either incandecent or LED in 24VAC/DC or 120volts. Simple.
