I use this key as the main power switch in my control panel, and it works very well. I have 2 contact blocks connected to it and it remains easy to turn. Also, it's extremely sturdy in it's housing due to its mounting system, very much a quality product.

Have used many of these switches now, the metal version are a little better structurally but this "bang for the buck" can not be beat. Like the screw on contact blocks. The only limiting factor is they are a little fragile to bumps from the operator.

I use these selectors because the LED lasts forever and the units are liquid-tight when installed properly. Since they are all-plastic on the exposed side of the panel, they are corrosion-proof. The rear mounting is solid and is very easy to wire to. The terminals allow two wires by design, so daisy-chaining commons is a breeze. The contact-blocks are sturdy and stackable.

It works as expected, but the action feels and sounds cheap, and my customer agreed. I would not recommend it for a product where you are trying to project a feel of high quality. It may be more suited to cost sensitive applications where the feel is not so important.
