The Eaton selector switches don't have as "positive" a feel when switching as the Allen-Bradley switches do. That being said, the contact terminals on the Eaton switches are far superior, as they can be wired with many contact blocks stacked on the switch, which can't be done with the Allen-Bradley switches. The price of the Eaton switches is significantly less than the A-B switches which makes the Eaton switches a great value in comparison.

Seating this device in a 30mm hole w/ a keying notch is a bit cumbersome. Getting the device lined up squarely with the legend plate too is cumbersome. Typically, over time the device will loosen and wallow when operated.

The selector switches and push buttons work very well, however the problem I have had is with the HT8A contact. When using it on a low control voltage circuit, the lube that comes with the mechanism works it's way inside and coats the contact surface. With 120 volt control voltage it hasn't been as much of a problem.

The nice thing about this product is the that it can be a two, or three position selector switch right out of the box. A simple change of position changes it's function. Nice not to have to stock two different items.
