Subpanels are flat panels designed to fit inside enclosures for mounting equipment, instruments, DIN rails and many other products, without having to drill through the enclosure wall, ensuring that enclosure integrity is maintained. Depending on manufacturer and enclosure style, these subpanels may be available in various materials, and are typically mounted on standoffs, collar studs, or other methods. The chart shows a general overview of subpanel availability by manufacturer and style / material. Typically an enclosure's item page will show the recommended subpanel(s) for that model under "Recommended Items".
