Circuit Breakers & Circuit Protectors
Circuit breakers and protectors are re-settable electrical safety devices that protect equipment and processes from damage caused by overload or short circuits. Their purpose is to interrupt current flow to protect downstream equipment and prevent the risk of fire.
- Molded case circuit breakers: for branch and feeder circuit protection of large loads, up to 1200 A
- Miniature circuit breakers: DIN-rail mountable for branch circuit protection, up to 63 A
- Miniature supplementary protectors: for additional protection and disconnecting means where branch circuit protection is already provided

Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)
Molded case circuit breakers provide branch or feeder circuit protection against overload or short-circuits, using thermal-magnetic or electronic trip units. UL489 rated MCCBs are available in various frame sizes for 3-pole configurations up to 1200A.
Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB)
UL 489 DIN rail mountable miniature circuit breakers protect feeder, branch, and control circuits from overload current. Rated for AC or DC applications, space-saving DIN-rail mountable circuit breakers provide B, C, or D trip curves and are available in current ratings up to 63A.
Miniature Supplementary Protectors
UL 1077 supplementary protectors provide additional overcurrent protection where branch protection is already provided or not required. DIN-rail mountable protectors offer B, C, or D trip curves and are available in current ratings up to 63 A.
