AutomationDirect now offers steel and stainless steel flanged enclosures for mounting disconnects. NEMA 4, 4X and 4/12 wall mount enclosures are available along with NEMA 12 wall mount, floor mount and free standing versions. These enclosures are designed to house disconnects from manufacturers including Allen-Bradley, ABB Controls, Cutler-Hammer/Westinghouse, General Electric, I-T-E and Square D.
Most industrial controls, from programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to relays, are mounted in NEMA enclosures, metal electric boxes,
junction boxes or some sort of electrical enclosure. That's why we chose Hubbell Wiegmann for their NEMA enclosure expertise.
They have been building heavy duty industrial cabinet enclosures for over 70 years. Hubbell Wiegmann is one of the largest industrial
enclosure manufacturers in the U.S.
NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 12, and NEMA 4/12 enclosures are continuously welded and gasketed to add a significant
amount of protection for indoor or outdoor use, and a closed cell neoprene or foam-in-place gasket keeps dust,
dirt, and liquids out.

Ordering and Shipping Notes
Please Note:
We carry a large variety of the most common panel sizes, but we are
unable to create custom-size NEMA enclosures or to determine the proper size for your application.
Enclosure Availability:
To offer you access to a much wider array of Hubbell Wiegmann enclosures, some of our enclosure part numbers are designated as
"non-stock", meaning their availability can range from immediate to 14 days.
These part numbers are designated in the online store with a "clock" icon indicating if the part is a
7 day or a 10-14 day delivery item, and in the printed price list as "non-stock (1 to 7 days)" or
"non-stock (1 to 14 days)".
Shipping:
When you place an order, a complete enclosure shipment will ship at one time from the
manufacturer when ALL enclosure parts in the order are available.
If you order stock enclosures that you want to ensure are shipped immediately, put them on a separate order
from the non-stock enclosures.
All other products on your order will ship immediately.
Ordering Subpanels:
Please note that all subpanels must be ordered separately.
Only use NPxxxx series subpanels in NEMA 1, NEMA 4 and 4X, and NEMA 12 enclosures.
Do NOT use NPxxxx subpanels in NEMA 4/12 enclosures (N412 series) with a C suffix part number. (i.e. N412121206C)
Do NOT use NPxxxxC subpanels in NEMA 1, NEMA 4 and 4X, and NEMA 12 enclosures.
NPxxxxC subpanels will also not fit in older NEMA 4/12 enclosures (purchased prior to 3-23-05) that do not have a C suffix part number.
For example: Subpanel NP1212C will NOT fit older NEMA 4/12 enclosures such as part numbers N412121206 or N412121206SS.
All NEMA 4/12 (N412xxxxxxC series) enclosures are designed for use with NPxxxxC series sub-panels only.
The original NEMA 4/12 (N412 series) enclosures (without the C suffix part number) have now been replaced by the N412xxxxxxC series enclosures.
