Pneumatic tubing is used to supply compressed air and inert gases to tools, valves, cylinders, and other pneumatic components. Pneumatic tubing can be made from one material or have internal reinforcements to provide greater strength. Pneumatic hose is typically made with fittings built on and are usually more rugged than regular tubing. With both tubing and hose, it is important to consider the maximum working pressure and flow requirements of the application. Hose/tubing cutters are available to provide clean, precise cuts on pneumatic and flexible hose, with replaceable blades for long service life.
