Category Selection

  • ISO 5599/1 Standard Pneumatic Solenoid Valves
  • Solenoid Valves for PAL Modular System
  • Solenoid Valves for CMV Modular System
  • Basic Directional Solenoid Valves
  • Metal Work Series 70 Solenoid Valves

Solenoid valves are a popular control device in pneumatic systems and allow control of various pneumatic devices using electrical signals. When an electrical current is routed through the coil of a solenoid valve, a magnetic field is generated which in turn causes an internal metal plunger, spool, etc. to move. This movement is used to either block or allow airflow through the valve and can work either directly or indirectly on the incoming air. Normally open (N.O.) solenoid valves will remain open when power is removed from the coil while normally closed (N.C.) solenoid valves remain closed. Solenoid valves come in many styles including standalone valves, and units for modular and electro-pneumatic systems. These valves utilize a variety of control voltages and provide a number of different pathways for air to travel in or out of the valve. Valves commonly used in industrial applications typically have a 2-, 3- or 4-way configuration.

Basic Directional Solenoid Valves

Basic Directional Solenoid Valves
(AVS & AVP Series)

AVP series poppet style and AVS series spool valves are basic directional control solenoid valves designed for use as standalone valves or as part of an assembled modular system.

  • AVP series valves are stackable 3-way spring return valves
  • AVS series valves are available as 3-way spring return valves as well as 4-way 5-port in either 2- or 3-position
  • AVS series valves can be mounted to a manifold to create a modular valve system
  • Valves offer 24 VDC or 120 VAC operated solenoids, with replacement coil options for 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 24 VAC, 120 VAC, and 240 VAC
