Stainless Steel Worm Gearboxes
Worm gearboxes (speed reducers) are mechanical power transmission components that utilize a worm pinion (or screw) that is coupled with a round toothed gear (or worm wheel). As a motor turns the worm pinion, its spirals will cause the worm wheel to turn and drive a load at a reduced ratio of the supplied motor speed. Worm gearboxes provide reliable speed reduction and increased torque with virtually no loss in horsepower.
These heavy-duty stainless steel models are intended for washdown and other corrosive environments.

- Housings, covers, and flanges constructed from 304 stainless steel
- IP69K‑rated for high‑pressure, high‑temperature washdown conditions
- BEAG certified (Bakery Equipment Assessment Group)
- Bronze worm wheel (CuSn12Ni2) with high‑efficiency tooth profile
- Filled with Mobil CIBUS 460 H1 food‑grade lubricant
- Double‑lipped VITON output seals provide moisture resistance
- Available for NEMA 56C and 145TC motor frames
- Reduction ratios from 5:1 to 60:1
