Voltage monitoring relays protect equipment from damage caused by faults in DC or single-phase AC systems, such as overvoltage, undervoltage, or exceeding a voltage band. These relays are available in a selection of voltage inputs; certain models offer fixed or adjustable drop-out protection.

Voltage Monitoring Relays
Voltage monitoring relays measure and evaluate AC single-phase (50 to 60 Hz) or DC voltages to protect equipment from fault conditions. Monitoring relays from ProSense and Dold offer various combinations of the following protection options:
- Overvoltage protection disconnects the power supply when the monitored voltage exceeds a predetermined threshold
- Undervoltage protection protects equipment from overheating and excessive current during low voltage conditions
- Voltage band protection disconnects the supply when the monitored voltage exceeds predefined upper and lower thresholds

Dold VARIMETER Series
Dold VARIMETER series measuring relays safeguard equipment from damage caused by abnormal voltage fluctuations. They offer wide voltage measuring ranges, compact frame sizes, and integrated terminal bases. Four single-turn switches allow quick and easy configuration for a broad range of applications.

ProSense VMR Series
ProSense voltage monitoring relays feature True RMS voltage measurement, which supports non-sinusoidal waveforms, ensures more accurate sensing, and eliminates nuisance tripping. The relays continuously monitor single-phase AC or DC voltage waveforms and respond to fault conditions when voltage measurements are not within predetermined thresholds.
- Up to 600 VAC or 138 VDC measuring ranges
- Over/under or voltage band protection options
