1D / 2D / DPM Imagers
1D/2D/DPM imagers are barcode scanners that are able to read all of the codes that a 1D/2D imager can read but also adds
the ability to read Direct Part Mark (DPM) images. They can read and translate codes printed on labels and boxes as well
as ones that are etched, embossed, low-contrast, or very small. These barcode scanners convert the code to usable
characters and transmit the code over a communications network.
