Solid or perforated panels for 19-inch data communication rack cabinets are typically used to improve cooling efficiency or prevent air recirculation. Replacement panels for instrument enclosures can be used to convert the vented enclosures to solid construction and vice-versa.

Shelves

Shelves for data communication racks provide superior ventilation for cable and satellite boxes and other components that generate considerable heat. These shelves feature two adjustable foam-padded mounting bars to secure components without fear of scratches

Drawers

Rail Reducer Panels

Rail reducer panels convert a standard 23- or 24-inch rack mounting rails to 19-inch rack mounting.

Rail Depth Adapters

Rail depth adapter kits for data communication racks allow equipment to be mounted four inches in or out from the rails. Adapters are useful when mounting outlet strips or equipment with no clearance.

DIN rail kits for data communication racks provide standard DIN rail mounting for compatible equipment and devices.

Grounding and Isolation

Grounding and isolation kits provide grounding solutions for open frame racks. Available kits include:

• A horizontal heavy-gauge copper bonding busbar that attaches to the inside of the enclosure
• A cabinet or frame rack to provide consolidated equipment grounds
• The grounding bar and copper busbar have an electro-tin plating that inhibits copper oxidation
• Bond wiring kits that include various lengths of 10-gauge copper wire terminated with crimped-on terminals

Fans

Fan kits for data communication racks extend the life of rack-mounted equipment by increasing airflow within the rack or cabinet. Fan kits are available with one or two fans.

• Includes all essential parts and two chrome fan grills for added safety

Fasteners

Fasteners for data communication rack systems include rack screws, cage nuts, clip nuts, and thumb screws.
