What do the NEMA ratings mean?
Wall-mount enclosures house electrical controls, terminals, instruments and components. These provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water.
Wall/surface-mounted junction boxes can also serve as service boxes, switch boxes and cutout boxes.
Sanitary IP69K and NSF 169 rated stainless steel enclosures are ideal for housing and protecting electrical equipment in sanitary environments such as food and beverage applications. Their unique hinge design allows for easy hose-down cleaning and the slope top prevents liquid accumulation. All models offer multiple NEMA ratings.
Miniature cases provide watertight protection for electronic equipment, circuit boards and DIN rail mounted components. Die-cast aluminum, polycarbonate, fiberglass and ABS plastic models are available with various NEMA and IP ratings, including units suitable for harsh and outdoor environments.
Pushbutton enclosures are available for mounting standard 30.5mm and miniature 22.5mm pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights. These provide protection from dirt, dust, oil and water.
Floor-mount enclosures can house large concentrations of electrical/electronic components, bolted to the floor for additional security and stabilization. Single-door and multi-door models are available in a range of NEMA ratings.
Freestanding enclosures house large concentrations of electrical/electronic components, and can be positioned without mounting to the floor. Single-door, multi-door, and dual-access models are available in a range of NEMA ratings.
Quadritalia modular enclosure kits consist of a frame and components required to assemble a complete enclosure (not including plinth). These NEMA 12 rated freestanding enclosures are available in choices of single or double-door configurations, with dual access and expansion bay options, in a range of sizes. Individual components are also sold separately, as well as a choice of accessories.
Quadritalia modular enclosure components include roof/base sets, vertical frame rails, doors, exterior panels, and subpanels required to assemble an OKK series enclosure. Choose from individual compatible components when a pre-configured kit does not meet your needs.
Steel, stainless steel, and fiberglass-reinforced polyester flanged enclosures are available for mounting disconnects. NEMA 4, 4X and 4/12 wall mount enclosures are available along with NEMA 12 wall mount, floor mount and freestanding versions. These enclosures are specifically designed to house disconnects from various manufacturers.
Consoles protect electrical/electronic components and instruments, and are available with flat or sloped tops.
Workstations with viewing windows house and protect computer equipment and accessories, and are available in a variety of mounting options.
Consolets protect electrical/electronic components and are typically desktop or pedestal mounted. Consolets in a range of sizes are available in a variety of materials and NEMA ratings. Models with blank faces or pre-cut holes for pilot devices are available.
Rack enclosures are designed to house network access equipment used in industrial environments. These enclosures provide outstanding protection against dust, oil and water, and are available in solid or windowed door options. All models offer multiple NEMA ratings.
Wiring trough encloses and protects wiring runs from dirt, dust, and oil and dripping water; certain NEMA rated versions are available that protect against rain, sleet and snow in outdoor applications.
