Buck-boost transformers are used to power loads with specific voltage requirements that differ from the available line voltage. These Jefferson Electric NEMA 3R-housed 1-phase units, encapsulated with electrical-grade resin, offer a 240x120 VAC primary to 24x12 VAC secondary configuration in a range of kVA ratings.
Note: Buck-boost transformers do not compensate for fluctuating line voltages. They should only be used when line voltage is relatively constant.
