Industrial power supplies provide the DC power needed for proper operation of ProductivityOpen controllers. Available power supplies offer 120-240 VAC, 125-375 VDC or 12-24 VDC nominal inputs, and can support up to 15 I/O expansion modules (depending on power supply and power budgeting requirements).
Your ProductivityOpen system may be powered by any 24VDC power supply. If your system includes only ProductivityOpen shields and/or Productivty1000 input/output modules, one of the Productivity1000 power supplies may be used. If your system includes Arduino MKR compatible shields instead of or in addition to the ProductivityOpen shields, the Productivity1000 power supplies cannot be used. In this case an alternative power supply is required. We show one example below, PSL-24-030 from our catalog, but we invite you to consider any of the power supplies from our catalog that may be suitable for your system.
Three power supplies are available for the ProductivityOpen platform, providing either AC or DC source power choices. P1-01AC and P1-02AC provide two choices for AC sourcing of power, 16W and 26W respectively, and the P1-01DC provides 16W power from a DC source. These power supplies snap onto the left side of the ProductivityOpen CPU or industrial-grade shields. If using third party shields a stand-alone power supply, like the one below, is required.
The P1-01AC Universal Power Supply provides isolated, 16W of power to the ProductivityOpen system from an external 100-240 VAC or 125VDC source.
The P1-02AC Universal Power Supply provides isolated, 26W power to the ProductivityOpen system from an external 100-240 VAC or 125VDC source.
P1-01DC provides 16W of power from an external 12 - 24 VDC source
