Hazardous location control station device/splice boxes are used to complete pilot device cover assemblies to meet Haz-Loc requirements. Killark device/splice boxes, available for sealed or unsealed control station assemblies, offer a variety of installation configurations. Units meet Class I and II, Div 1 & 2 requirements.
Killark control stations are designed to contain and extinguish explosions. The cast aluminum housing and bolts can withstand explosion pressures. The contact surface between top and bottom is wide to allow for combustion gases to cool down, pass through, and release pressure without igniting any explosive environment.
The FXB series splice boxes are designed for use with the FXCS series cover sub-assemblies.
Factory sealed pushbutton, selector switch and pilot light stations are designed to prevent the igniting of external hazardous atmospheres by the enclosed arcing devices. Factory sealed devices eliminate the need for external sealing.
