Killark hazardous location pushbutton control stations prevent the igniting of external hazardous atmospheres by the enclosed arcing device. FXCS series factory sealed assemblies are available in one- and two-operator pushbutton configurations, with START/STOP or blank legends. Units meet Class I and II, Div 1 & 2 requirements.
Killark control stations are designed to contain and extinguish explosions. The cast aluminum housing and bolts can withstand explosion pressures. The contact surface between top and bottom is wide to allow for combustion gases to cool down, pass through, and release pressure without igniting any explosive environment.
These pushbutton assemblies include the cover and the pushbutton devices. An FXB splice/device box is required.
