U-shaped fork sensors use through-beam photoelectric technology to detect objects passing through the slot. The rugged one-piece housing keeps the emitter and receiver in alignment. These laser light models can detect very small objects with sensing distances up to 120mm, and quick-disconnect termination. Light / Dark selectable operation allows easy setup.
Fork sensors (also called slot sensors or "U" sensors) offer some advantages over standard through-beam sensors.
