Potable water solenoid valves with stainless steel bodies are NSF certified for sanitary applications, available in direct-acting or piloted-diaphragm operator styles, in a range of orifice sizes and solenoid voltages. Zero-differential models do not require a minimum pressure to operate.
Stainless steel bodied solenoid valves provide extra endurance in harsh conditions for longer lasting operation; available in direct acting or piloted diaphragm versions.
Pilot-operated valves have an armature that acts on a pilot orifice, which releases pressure and volume above the diaphragm, allowing the differential pressure of the fluid to open the valve and control fluid flow.
Valves with zero differential action can operate under zero head pressure (do not need a differential pressure across the valve to work)
Direct acting valves have an armature that acts directly on the valve orifice to control fluid flow and does not require a minimum pressure to operate.

18mm (DIN 43650A) style wiring plug
