Great little touch screen HMI. good price. Easy interface to a Click PLC. Not always responsive to touch at perimeter of the screen, so don't put icons at the edge of the screen. Easy software coordination via variables between PLC and HMI.
First color touch screen HMI I've installed in our production line. Takes a little research to get it programmed but I am very happy with the results. Costs about the same as the push buttons, switches and counter/timer read outs it is replacing but saves the labor for wiring
This 4" screen is soooo much better than the 3" screens - brighter, full color, obviously larger. For all small projects in the future, this will be my go-to screen. I have recently developed two products using this screen. The clients were quite happy with the results.
Much better than the 3" series. Great unit, boots up quick, resolution is excellent and I love the fact that you don't have to go to the setup screen to download a change, it goes there automatically, at least over Ethernet.
First time using PLCs and HMIs (though I have significant programming experience). This was incredibly easy to program and integrate with the BRX Do-More series PLC we got.

i love that this fits in the same cutout as a 3" the screen resolution allows a lot more useful data per screen. While it doesnt have dedicated fkey buttons, i highly recommend using the soft fkey on every screen for navigation, because the resolution allows more characters on each fkey to describe its function. compared to a 3", its night and day as far as im concerned. Made the end result much more polished and useful.3 of 3 people found this review helpful.
Great little HMI for the money!
I needed something to replace an old style standalone counter that had failed. Since I had transitioned this particular machine to the Productivity 2000 platform, I decided to give this little 3" screen a try. It was about the same cost with the cable as the counter would have been, and the connection with the DV-1000CBL was super simple: no power to run, just plug in the phone jacks at either end and it was good to go. Setup was also simple, as the productivity serial comm mode was a selection in the panel manager setup, and the tags could be exported from the productivity software and imported into the screen. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked out. Having a small screen gives so much flexibility to display machine status (helpful for maintenance) and other info above and beyond the simple counting function that was required. The screen was big enough to allow about 18 characters of text to fit on a single line, and there was still plenty of room for other stuff. The only thing that was not completely intuitive was the use of the function keys. I did not see anything to map them directly to a tag, and it seems to require a button object (that obviously does nothing without touch capability) on the screen to map them to. I chose to use the "buttons" as labels for the function keys.2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
I am accustomed to using the larger c-more screens and software. This was just as easy and fast. I wasn't sure how the resolution was going to be. For the price, I was very impressed and I will use it again where the need arises.1 person found this review helpful.
