The AR22 has become my default 22mm button over the GCX series. The big selling point for the AR22 series is that the actuator is threaded & held in place by a plastic nut, so the contact assembly snaps on/off without having to touch the actuator. This makes them easier to mount, especially in tight spaces. Also in the case of the E stop actuator, I haven't had any issues with the 40mm head breaking off like I did with the GCX equivalent. The main drawback to the AR22 series is that the entire button is plastic, including the thread & nut, so care needs to be taken to not over tighten & strip the nut. The buttons sometimes are not as tight as I would like because of this. Long term durability also remains in question but I haven't experienced any failures in about a year of use. My only other minor grip is that the contact assembly only snaps on to the actuator one way. The actuator is round with no obvious alignment points, so snapping the block back in place can be annoying. Overall I like this series but I wish is was slightly heavier duty.
