Flow sensors provide reliable flow indication, detection, or measurement of liquid media. Mechatronic or mechanical devices sense flow, while thermal and vortex technologies monitor flow and/or temperature. Magnetic-inductive meters measure the flow and temperature of conductive media.

This is 3rd unit we have purchased for the same application. The units have failed prematurely and started to show incorrect flow values. The 4-20mA output also reported incorrect values.

This thing is a complete piece of junk. Using it in a well water application behind a screen, it lasted a week before jamming up. After taking it out and checking it and putting it back in service it failed again after two weeks. Save yourself the headache and buy something else.

Excellent magnetic flow meter for batching processes. We use these for water meters in our concrete batch plants. We program output 1 to provide a pulse every time 0.2 gallon flows through the meter (5 pulses per gallon). We program output 2 for 4-20 mA to monitor the water temperature in the meter in a range from 32F - 140F. The unit is very accurate and requires no corrective calibration. The unit is very compact and less expensive than the units we previously used. Learning to step through the programming process is a bit cryptic and I would like to see ad.com add a USB dongle cable to connect to the meter so it could be configured from a laptop, but I would not let this minor issue prevent me from purchasing more of these. We currently have eight (8) of these units operating at our 6 facilities, with more coming.
