ProSense flow sensors monitor liquid media and provide reliable flow detection (switch output) or an analog output proportional to flow rate (transmitters). Mechatronic devices measure flow, while thermal and vortex technologies can monitor flow and/or temperature. Magnetic-inductive flow meters (magmeters) detect flow and temperature of conductive media.

Excellent magnetic flow meter for batching processes. We use these for water meters in our concrete batch plants. We program output 1 to provide a pulse every time 0.2 gallon flows through the meter (5 pulses per gallon). We program output 2 for 4-20 mA to monitor the water temperature in the meter in a range from 32F - 140F. The unit is very accurate and requires no corrective calibration. The unit is very compact and less expensive than the units we previously used. Learning to step through the programming process is a bit cryptic and I would like to see ad.com add a USB dongle cable to connect to the meter so it could be configured from a laptop, but I would not let this minor issue prevent me from purchasing more of these. We currently have eight (8) of these units operating at our 6 facilities, with more coming.

The company is unable to offer repair for a product they sell and the customer service agent was quite dismissive and rude when troubleshooting the product. I would look into another company with better service if you are looking for flowmeters.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.
