Clicking "Add to Cart" will add an assembly to your Cart and take you to the cart screen for checkout.
T-slot aluminum extrusion has a T-shaped slot along each face. Nuts slide into the slots, so rails, brackets and panels bolt together without welding or drilling, and a frame can be taken apart and rebuilt as needs change. SureFrame T-slotted rails are AutomationDirect's line of 6063-T6 anodized aluminum extrusion in inch and metric sizes, cut to length to order.
This builder turns the outside dimensions of a frame, table or cube into a cut list. For example, a table 24 in wide, 36 in deep and 30 in high in 1515 profile needs 2 rails at 24.00 in, 2 rails at 33.00 in and 4 legs at 28.50 in, all cut square. The bill of materials then adds the brackets, connectors and hardware for the corner connections you choose.
No. The builder runs in your browser. You can design a frame and see its full parts list and price without an account or a download.
A flat frame, a table (a top frame on four legs), a cube, or a cube with legs. Cubes with legs can use continuous legs or legs made from the next larger profile.
1 inch series (1010, 1020, 2020), 1.5 inch series (1515, 1515 Light, 1515 Ultra Light, 1530, 1530 Light, 3030), and 30 mm, 40 mm and 45 mm metric series. Every profile comes in clear anodize, and in black anodize where a black part exists.
Yes. Choose Metric to use the 30 mm, 40 mm and 45 mm series. Metric dimensions are entered in centimeters; the inch series use inches.
You enter the outside dimensions of the frame. Rails that butt against other rails are shortened by the thickness of those rails, legs are shortened by the thickness of the top frame, and corner cubes shorten the rails they join. Every rail is cut square (90°).
Every series offers corner reinforcement: corner cubes, corner plates, and inside corner brackets (standard, tall, gusseted, and tall gusseted). The 1.5 inch, 40 mm and 45 mm series also offer frame connectors that fit inside the rail, such as Duo, T-matic, Automatic and Milling connectors, depending on the series.
The rails, the brackets and connectors you choose, and the bolts, self-tapping screws and economy slide nuts those connections need. End caps and panels are not included.
The builder warns you that the parts cannot be assembled without corner connections. You can still add the assembly to your cart, for example if you already have connecting hardware on hand.
Each rail is named by its position in the frame, such as Front Top or Leg. The names show on the 3D model, are carried into your order, and are labeled on the parts when they ship.
