Disconnect enclosures protect electrical components and allow addition of a flange-mounted disconnect. Models in various NEMA ratings are compatible with disconnects and operating mechanisms from various manufacturers. Internal or external mount protective enclosures are also available.

Disconnect Enclosures
Hammond Manufacturing, Wiegmann, and Saginaw disconnect enclosures are specifically designed to protect personnel by providing a safe method to shut-off electrical power to an enclosure before opening the door. These enclosures are available in carbon steel and stainless steel, and in wall-mount, floor-mount, freestanding, or modular freestanding enclosure types with NEMA ratings that include NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13. These enclosures are designed to house disconnects from manufacturers including Allen-Bradley, ABB Controls, Cutler-Hammer/ Westinghouse, Fuji, General Electric, I-T-E, and Square D.

Wall-Mount Disconnect Enclosures
Wall-mount disconnect enclosures are ideal for applications where floor space is limited and cannot support a full-size standing enclosure. Wall-mount disconnect enclosures available include:
- Hammond enclosures in carbon steel and stainless steel constructions
- Wiegmann enclosures in carbon steel and stainless steel constructions
- Saginaw enclosures in carbon steel and stainless steel
- All available in various NEMA ratings
- Enclosures with slopped tops are also available
Add-On Disconnect Enclosures
Add-on disconnect enclosures can be added to any existing enclosure that requires additional protection against arc flash. These enclosures are used to isolate the main power supply and are available in two different versions depending on your needs:
- NEMA 1 internal mount disconnect enclosures can be installed inside environmentally rated enclosures
- NEMA 3R, 12, and 13 external mount disconnect enclosures are installed externally
Floor-Mount Disconnect Enclosures
Floor-mounted disconnect enclosures are designed to protect electrical and electronic controls, components, and instruments in typical industrial environments, while providing the disconnect feature. Floor-mounted enclosures are bolted and secured to the floor permanently.

Freestanding Disconnect Enclosures
Freestanding disconnect enclosures are designed to protect electrical and electronic controls, components, and instruments in typical industrial environments, while providing the disconnect feature. Freestanding enclosures sit on the floor and are not bolted or secured to the floor.

Modular Disconnect Enclosure Bays
Saginaw NextGen modular disconnect enclosure bays provide the convenience of adding a disconnect enclosure to any NextGen series modular installation. These right-side modular bays are easily bolted to any left or center modular bay and are available in carbon steel or stainless steel.
- Available in various sizes to fit application
- Carbon steel construction is NEMA 3R/4/12/13 rated
- Stainless steel construction is NEMA 3R/4/4X/12/13 rated
