Wireway
Wireways are designed to house electrical cables and wires, proving a way to route, organize, and protect them from environmental contaminants or physical damage. Wireways offer a more enclosed solution for cable management with a higher level of protection than open cable trays. A wide selection of fittings and accessories are also included.

Wireway
Wireways are used to route and organize electrical cables and wires while protecting them from dust, dirt, oil, and water. There are two types of wireways to choose from:
Lay-in Wireway
- Offer the advantage of top-open flanges, which make it extremely easy to lay cables or wires for any installation
- Eliminates accidental damage from pulling during installation
- Easy access for future installations, maintenance or upgrades
- Available in NEMA 1 (CW series) and NEMA 12 versions (1485 series)
Pull-through Wireway
- Ideal for connections to machines, control panels, and power sources when optimum protection is required
- Smooth interior surfaces help prevent wire damage during installation
- Available in NEMA 12 (carbon steel) or NEMA 4/4X/12 rated (stainless-steel) types (1487 series)
Wireway Fittings
Wireway fittings are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to provide junctions between wireway sections, making it easy and trouble-free to design a preferred layout that best fits your installation.
- Elbows: Provide a 22.5°, 45°, or 90° turn
- Cover Plates: Provide a cover to seal an open end of a wireway or wireway fitting
- Box Connector: Used to ensure a tight seal where the wireway enters and enclosure/cabinet
- Nipples: Used between wireway sections or fittings to allow adjustments of length to ensure best fit
- Swivel Nipple: Same as nipple but adds the ability to connect a nipple at different angles
- Tees: Allow to add a branch-off connection from sections or fittings
- Cut-Off: Consists of two pieces that can be cut to size and then welded together to ensure perfect fit
- Adjustable: Includes a sliding flange that can be adjusted on-site to ensure proper fit
- Cross Fitting: Similar to a tee but branches-out to two new connections
- Center/Edge Hole Reducer: Reduces the wireway opening from 4"x4" to 2.5"x2.5"

Wireway Accessories
Wireway accessories include gasket kits and various types of hangers used to provide support for wireway runs.
Gasket kits are available in various sizes for use with Hammond 1487 series wireways.
Hangers are specifically designed for use with Hammond CW or 1487 series wireways and include:
- Drop and bracket hangers for Hammond 1487 series wireways
- Ceiling and wall hangers for Hammond CW series wireways
