Open and closed-type devices are available that meet UL1449 Type 1 requirements for surge protection in power applications. Mersen STXR series NEMA 4X-rated enclosed devices are ideal for branch panel or equipment power protection up to 600 VAC. Dehn DG-MU series modular DIN-rail mount devices are suitable for common electrical systems up to 550 VAC; replacement protection modules are available.

The Surge-Trap® STXR series meets requirements for UL1449 Fourth Edition and is ideal for the replacement of obsolete surge arrestors. The TPMOV® technology makes these some of the safest products available.

DEHN RED/Line Modular DIN-Rail Surge Protective Devices
The modular DEHNguard surge protectors are DIN-rail mounted units that set new standards of safety and user-friendliness. These SPDs are UL 1449 4th Edition certified, are deigned for all common electrical power system configurations, and are ideal for use in the United States and Canadian electrical panel markets.
For maximum reliability, the Thermo Dynamic Control monitoring device evaluates the intensity of the discharge current and the surface temperature of the heavy-duty varistor.
