Cast iron worm gearboxes (speed reducers) drive a load at a reduced ratio of the motor speed, with rugged housings to withstand industrial environments. Output torque is increased by that same ratio; horsepower is unchanged (less efficiency losses). Available models offer up to a 60:1 gear ratio.
