Cast Iron Worm Gearboxes
Cast iron worm gearboxes (speed reducers) drive a load at a reduced ratio of the motor speed, with rugged housings to withstand industrial environments. Output torque is increased by that same ratio; horsepower is unchanged (less efficiency losses). Available models offer up to a 60:1 gear ratio.

Cast Iron Worm Gearboxes
Built to last, these rugged gearboxes will perform reliably in the worst conditions and feature a one-piece cast iron housing with a 1045 carbon steel shaft.
- Dual shaft, right hand shaft, left hand shaft, and hollow shaft output types
- 1.75" to 3.25" center distances (frame sizes)
- 5:1 to 60:1 ratios
- C-face mounting interfaces for C-face motors
- Double bearing sets on both shaft ends, heavy-duty bearings on the output shaft
- Interior channel guides oil to directly and constantly lube bearings
- All gear reducer units filled with Mobil #SHC634 synthetic oil
- Double-lipped embedded oil seals to prevent gearbox leakage
- Universally interchangeable compact design ensures easy OEM replacement
