Bearings for precision linear shafts support accurate motion for sliding loads. These bearings are available in maintenance-free plain versions, as well as ball bearings unmounted or as part of a pillow block or flange bearing.

Linear Shaft Bearings
Linear shaft bearings provide smooth, controlled motion when paired with precision ground shafts. Multiple bearing technologies are available to support accuracy, load capacity, and long service life across a wide range of applications.
- Available in maintenance‑free plain bearings or rolling element ball bearings
- Plain bearings feature a self‑lubricating Frelon liner
- Ball bearing models use heat‑treated rolling elements for extended life
- Precision models offer running clearance as tight as 0.001” (0.025mm)
- Offered in open or closed bearing styles
- Flange‑mounted assemblies include built‑in self‑alignment in all directions
Roller pillow blocks are designed for high speed, high rigidity linear motion and perform well in demanding environments where contamination resistance is important.
- Large cam follower bearings with side shields help exclude contaminants
- Linear travel speeds up to 7.6 m/s (25 ft/s)
