Bearings for precision linear shafts support accurate motion for sliding loads. These bearings are available in maintenance-free plain versions, as well as ball bearings unmounted or as part of a pillow block or flange bearing.

Linear Shaft Bearings
Bearings for precision linear shafts provide accurate and smooth motion for linear sliding loads.
- Available in maintenance-free plain or ball bearings
- Plain bearings feature a self lubricating Frelon® liner
- Models with heat treated ball bearings ensure long life
- Tightest running clearance approximately 0.001" (0.025 mm) on precision models
- Closed or open styles
- Available mounted in flanges or pillow blocks
- Pillow block and flange mount bearings have built-in self-alignment in all directions.
Roller pillow blocks have cam follower bearings that are corrosion resistant and provide high speed travel and rigidity in the toughest applications.
- Large cam follower design with side shields excludes contaminants
- Linear travel speeds up to 7.6m/s (25ft/s)
- Ideal for joined shaft applications
- Best suited for horizontal applications with normal downward loading
- Single-style pillow blocks can operate on curved shafts
