Productivity2000 motion and specialty modules perform functions such as input simulation, high-speed counting, and pulse width modulation. For enhanced motion capability, up to (4) PS-AMC motion controllers can be used with certain CPUs for coordinated motion on up to (4) axes on (4) different systems.
Applications that require precise positioning or coordinated movements need modules capable of accurately tracking and supplying high-frequency pulse trains.
An input simulator module is also provided to enable testing of PLC control logic by supplying manually changed input signals. They can also be used to supply ON/OFF commands that initiate specific functions in the PLC.

The PS-AMC motion controller is an ideal choice for low-cost coordinated motion that's easy to use and reliable. Designed to work effortlessly with the Productivity family of CPUs, the AMC provides accurate, synchronized, closed-loop motion control on up to four axes per module (4 modules per P2-550 CPU).
The P2-HSI is a high-speed input module with differential (line receiver, 5V max.) and single ended (5-24V) inputs that accept up to 1MHz of pulse/direction and quadrature signals on each of the two independent input channels.
The P2-HSO supports pulse/direction, up/down, and quadrature pulse outputs (1Mhz) on each of the two independent output channels. Additionally, it has six 5-24VDC general purpose inputs and four 5-24VDC general purpose outputs.
The P2-02HSC is capable of handling input pulse frequencies up to 100kHz. Easily count and/or calculate position from dedicated inputs or encoder signals that are used in many applications including package tracking and picking systems. Additionally, there are two general purpose inputs for use as 5-24 VDC inputs.
The P2-04PWM pulse width modulation module provides four channels of sinking or sourcing 0-20 kHz, 0-100% duty cycle outputs. The varying pulse widths produced by the PWM module are seen as varying power levels to the end device and are ideally suited for running motors/pumps, controlling LED lighting, opening/closing solenoid valves, and more.
Input Simulator provides 8 toggle switches to simulate input devices, ideal for testing or manually controlled operations.
