Safety light curtains for hand protection are designed with a 30mm beam resolution (spacing) to detect objects the size of a human hand. These safety curtains are used for personnel and machine protection in applications that require frequent human interaction, or where there is a chance foreign objects of similar size could accidentally enter and damage running equipment.
